Divi – Save To Library

Video Tutorial

Script & Screenshots

In this video I’m going to show you how to save layouts, sections, rows, and modules to the Divi Library.
Starting with layouts, if you’d like to save the entire layout of your page, including all the page settings, you’d click on the Save To Library button.
In the Save to Library box, type in the name you’d like this layout to be called.  Use something that will make it easy to find for when you choose to load this layout later.
Then click Save.
If you’d like to save a section, click on the Edit button on the section you’d like to save.  Saving a section will save everything within the section, including its settings and the rows and modules within it.
Click on the Save & Add To Library button.
In the Section Module Settings window, type in your desired Template name.  If you’d like it to be a global option, check that box.  This makes the item where it will update in every location that the item exists on your website.  I go into more detail about the Global options in another video in this series.  If you have Categories created, you will see them listed.  If you’d like to create a new category, type it in that field.  Categories will help you find your templates within your library easier if you have tons of saved templates.
When you’re all done, click on the Save And Add To Library button.
If you’d like to save a row and all its settings, plus the modules within it, click on the Edit button on the row.
Click on the Save & Add To Library button.
The rows are exactly like the sections.  Type in your desired template name, select if you want it global, and add any categories.
If you’d like to add a category, just type it in the box.
Click the Save And Add To Library button.
To save a module and all its settings to the library, click on the Edit button on the module you’d like to save.
Click the Save & Add To Library button.
In the Text Module Settings box, type in the Template Name.  You also now get the option whether you want to save the General Settings, Advanced Settings, and CSS.  By default, they have you saving them all.  But if you choose to, you can choose not to save all of them.  Lastly, choose if you’d like this to be a global item.
For this one, I’ll save it as a global item.
Click the Save And Add To Library button.
That’s it for this video.  I’ll see you in the next one.
